An additional positive COVID-19 case has been identified in a Cordova resident. The patient was admitted to the hospital for non-COVID-related end-of-life care and the case was discovered during screening. This incident raises the city’s active cases from 2 to 3.

City Manager, Helen Howarth, says she “remains confident in the hospital’s protective protocols,” and that Cordova citizens “know what they need to do to protect themselves.”
