Dashboard Updates and Testing Hours to Decrease

Beginning next week, positive test results and vaccine numbers will be reported to the community on Fridays only unless there is an event that warrants additional notification. When Should You Get a COVID-19 Test?

When returning from travel, testing is recommended 5 days after arrival. When you have been contacted by someone doing contact tracing. When you have symptoms. *Vaccinated individuals do not need to get tested unless they have symptoms.

Cordova Vaccine Update

After this week’s vaccine PODs, 1,054 Cordovans have now received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Of that number, 689 have received both doses of vaccine. Unified Command Lowers Health Alert Level

After careful consideration, the Medical Response Team recommended to Unified Command that it lower Cordova’s COVID-19 Health Alert from Level 4, Local Outbreak Warning, to Level 3, Watch: Proceed with Caution. This recommendation was based on reduced active cases, the rate of community vaccinations, and the effectiveness of local businesses’ mitigation plans.
